Mainland Machinery worked with Ray-mont Logistics to design a new system that would allow them to fill containers simultaneously from two rail lines at 250MT/hour. The system worked off of three rail lines and tied into an existing bagging line and became Ray-mont’s most modern facility. The system is totally automated and is recognized as having the highest transloading capacity in all of Canada.
We took care of conceptual design, detailed engineering, procurement of specialized equipment, foundations and structure, manufacture of structure, chutes and spouting, complete installation and commissioning.
The entire system was designed, manufactured and installed in a relatively short amount of time, and was done under very challenging site conditions, including the very high water table along the Fraser River.
