Committed to Quality Steel Fabrication and Service with Integrity

Founded in 1971, Mainland Machinery initially served the welding and steel fabrication needs of local feed mills in Abbotsford, BC. After providing many years of quality work, we’ve become a trusted supplier of design and fabrication services for not only the feed mill industry, but also the mining, oil and gas, and agriculture industries in BC and Alberta.

From our humble beginnings as a small company completing small steel fabrication jobs, we’ve grown to over 40,000 square feet of production space at two locations in Abbotsford with over 60 staff members. We’re proud to offer a wide range of services including mechanical engineering and CAD design, custom industrial equipment fabrication, and research and development of innovative machinery and structures.

Our success over the years can be attributed to the skilled work of our employees, including engineers, production workers and administrative support staff. We are all committed to providing outstanding service with the utmost integrity, and building long-term relationships with our customers.

We also attribute our success to our dedication to providing quality work. We follow many quality control procedures in-house including material traceability, quality inspections, plan inspection and testing and document control.

Mainland Machinery is CWB approved and certified to CSA Standard W47.1.

The Copper Mountain Mine dates back to the early 1900s, and with the new 35,000 ton per day mill and supporting infrastructure Mainland Machinery helped build, it will continue to produce for decades to come.
